Professor Gong Exchange with SWUFE About Top-ranking Discipline

From June 11th to 12th in 2018, dean of Wenlan, the professor Gone exchanged with Research Institute of Economics and Management (RIEM) in SWUFE (Southwestern University of Finance and Economics). Secretary Dong Yan, Deputy Secretary Zhou Gaorong, Vice President Li Han and Vice President Huang Lin of the research institute attended the meeting.

Wenlan and RIEM both adopt an internationally-integrated teaching model, which has extensively absorbed oversea PhD graduates and researchers in the fields of economics, finance and management. These talents commit to construction internationalized research center for economics and finance teaching.

The two sides exchanged information on international cooperation training for students, academic exchange and development, and promotion of first-class universities and first-class disciplines construction. They also discussed the issue of student management, curriculum design, and gave shape to the model of returnee teaching, improved the solutions of student training. Mr. Gong consulted on topics such as first-class discipline construction, and optimization of subject structure. And the meeting attendees of RIEM gave advices on aspects of top scholars and teams, platform construction, scientific research, talents training, exchange of all aspects and study atmosphere. The two sides would continue to cooperate in future.
